Turistsenteret is part of the Vesteralen Hotel & Congress centre, one of the most comprehensive centres for courses and conferences, incentive trips and holidays and leisure trips in this part of Norway. We are proud to present the high quality of our hotel rooms, fishermen?s cabins and conference facilities. Our centre also has a Kulturhus or cultural centre, four restaurants and one cafe.

The whaleboat on land mk Isqueen is regarded by many as the jewel in the crown of Hurtigrutens Hus. The boat dates back to the era of whaling and Danish seine nets, and has preserved its unique maritime fittings a very special setting for a delicious meal! Mk Isqueen is one of the most characteristic restaurants in Norway, and well worth a visit!Delightful meals served in a unique maritime setting reflecting the days of both whaling and Danish seine netting!The menu is based on local ingredients and traditions. Our menu comprises ingredients from both land and sea, and you are sure to find something to tempt your palate.In addition to the restaurants high quality à la carte menu, the Isqueen can serve drinks for both thirsty hunters and the perfect wine to suit your meal. The Pianobar at Turistsenteret is a great setting for all types of celebration! The perfect place to get together after a meal in the restaurant downstairs. The Pianobar also has magnificent views and a delightful decor. Our guests most often describe it as cosy and inviting. The Pianobar has a bar and dance floor. We can help organise good, live music for your celebration.Some guests also prefer to have the entire party in the Pianobar, with cake and coffee.
